Students have to take admission each year. Admission is based on availability of seats, attendance and performance in the lower class. A repeater or an ATKT student may not be admitted to the next class in case of non availability of seats.

The junior college offers the educational programmes and syllabus as given by the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education, for XI and XII standards. The standard XI examinations are taken by the college and the standard XII examinations by the Board’s Mumbai division. There are three divisions of standard XI and XII each with total number of 360 seats in each standard. The junior college begins at 12: 30 pm and finishes at 5:00 pm.

Those candidates, who have passed in all subjects of the S.S.C. Examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Examination or an equivalent examination of any other Board / any statutory examining body, are eligible for admission to the standard XI. However, the admissions are finalized on the basis of merit list, keeping the reserved categories intact as per the government rules.
